Our Chairman

Mario Lobo

Chairman & Managing Director

Mario founded The PSS Group in 1981 and is one of the pioneers of executive search in India. With extensive experience in developing and managing strategic relationships, he has assisted leading Indian businesses with critical strategic inputs on restructuring, salary benchmarking and different organizational development initiatives. Mario takes a lot of interest in analysing new organization structures and proposing change management across several industry sectors. His work and contributions have been featured in major national publications. He is on the Governing Council for the Loyola Institute in Chennai and the Executive Committees for Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur.

Mario holds a degree in Arts from the University College of Arts in Jaipur, India. He is also an MBA from the Xavier Institute, Jamshedpur (“XLRI”) and was presented with the “Distinguished Alumnus Award” by XLRI in 2014 for his contributions to the Human Resource industry in India.

Andre Lobo

Executive Director
Consumer Goods & Financial Services

Andre leads PSS-Ray & Berndtson’s India and International business including the United States and Singapore. He leads business development and client engagement for the leadership hiring services business. He is also a director on the Board of the group. His areas of expertise lie in the technology, consumer, and financial services sectors. Andre has advised companies on their leadership hiring and growth strategy.

Prior to taking on his current role at PSS for the last 6 years, he has worked in the corporate finance function with organizations like the Aditya Birla Group and Standard Chartered Bank. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics & Statistics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and an MBA in general management from IESE Business School, Barcelona. He is also an alumnus of London Business School.

Nigel Lobo

Lobo Staffing and Quikchex

Nigel leads operations for Lobo Staffing, the general contract staffing company of the group as well as Quikchex, a cloud-based HR and payroll platform for SME companies. He is currently the CEO of Quikchex, a PSS group company, as well as a Director of the Board.

He started his career as an Investment Banker at JP Morgan in New York where he focused on M&A and Financing in the Natural Resources Group. Nigel received both his MBA (Honors) and bachelor’s degree (Magna Cum Laude) from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Erika Lobo

Executive Director
Technology, Media & Internet

Erika manages and leads various functional areas within PSS and Ray & Berndtson including the technology, media and internet industry practice. She is also a Director of the Board of the group. Prior to this role, she spent a year in Sales and Partnerships for Quikchex, a PSS group company.

Erika started her career as an Investment Banker for Goldman Sachs in New York and London where she worked on executing M&A and capital raising transactions across geographies. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, and information management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
